What does the Scuba Skills Update course include?
Diving skills can easily become rusty and after a while you lose confidence in your own abilities. An SSI Scuba Skills Update will get you back in the water and back to your old strength in no time at all. In the refresher course, you repeat and practise the diving skills from your Open Water Diver programme under the guidance of an SSI professional. However, a scuba skills update is not only a relaxed way to refresh your diving skills, but is often also a prerequisite for resuming diving training after a break. If you don’t want to worry about your skills on your diving holiday and would rather enjoy the underwater world instead, take the course shortly before your trip. The course is also ideal for Open Water Diver students to consolidate their diving skills before their open water dives. The flexible course duration allows you to take your time and concentrate on your weaknesses.
