Lagona Divers – technical
at Happy Life Village
What is Tec Diving:
Technical diving is any type of diving where there is no possibility of a direct ascent to the surface. This includes the disciplines of decompression diving, cave diving and wreck diving.
Tec diving is not only about depth. Rather, it is about being able to spend more time on depth.
Example: If you dive with sport equipment and air as breathing gas to 40m, you have to start diving shallower after about 5min, otherwise you will exceed the no-decompression limit. If you dive in a technical configuration with the right breathing gases, bottom times of 20min and more are possible at the same depth.
