The next step! The Advanced Open Water Diver program offers the perfect opportunity for all Open Water Divers to learn about different specialties. Simply choose three additional specialties that interest you, such as boat diving, drift diving, or even underwater photography or videography, in addition to the deep diving and navigation specialties. With our diving courses, you will be trained by professional diving instructors in your hobby. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities! At the end, you will receive a globally recognized advanced diving certification (equivalent to PADI AOWD, among others).

Completed beginner course from a recognised diving organisation
Fit for diving:
A diving medical certificate is not mandatory. It is sufficient to fill in the health declaration at the check-in. [Download]. Only in case of known acute or chronic health restrictions (one or more “yes” answers) a diving medical certificate (can also be acquired on site) is indispensable. Unless otherwise stated, a diving medical certificate is valid for a maximum of 12 months.
Please remember: It’s about your health and safety! If in doubt, it is always better to see a doctor.
Data protection notice:
By booking a diving course, you agree that Lagona Divers may forward your data to SSI EMEA – Germany; Johann-Hoellfritsch-Str. 6; 90530 Wendelstein; Germany for the purpose of course and online training registration, in accordance with their privacy policy. The privacy policy of SSI EMEA can be found on their website www.divessi.com.
Diving courses must be booked and prepaid at least 3 working days before arrival. Unfortunately we cannot accept later bookings and we reserve the right to cancel them. For courses, please remember that we will activate your course material as soon as we have received your payment and you can then start your theory lessons immediately.
For bookings at short notice, please also contact our service centre to arrange the start of the course.
Refund conditions for diving packages, courses and specialities (diving services):
Diving packages will be refunded in full minus a processing fee of 35 euros per package. A refund of partially used packages is excluded.
We will refund fully or partially unused diving courses and specialities as follows:
SSI registrations and digital teaching material remain valid for 3 months for Rental Kits and for life for Diamond Kits. These price components are therefore non-refundable. We will refund the course fee minus the kit price according to the currently valid SSI price list.
These are examples (as at 04/2025):
- OWD course: 180 Euro
- Specialty with digital material: 91 Euro
- Specialty without digital material: 46 Euro
Training dives carried out will be charged according to the price list on site.
Refunds must be made no later than 30 days after the return date printed on the voucher. After this date, unused services expire without compensation.
Our group rates also apply to this package.
What is considered a group at Lagona Divers?
We do not define groups (only) by the number of participants. Rather, we consider the joint booking of several dive packages and/or courses as one group. This means that our group rates can also be applied to a small number of buddies.
