Choosing and buying your own scuba equipment is probably the biggest and most important investment you’ll make as a diver, but it’s easy to get it wrong. We want you to choose the best scuba gear for you and know how to take care of it.

The SSI Equipment Techniques programme teaches you which equipment is best for you and how to properly care for and store it. The programme ensures high performance and increases the lifespan of your equipment.

You can complete the entertaining course with simple explanations of the material entirely from home. You don’t have to be at the base in person at any time. After you have completed the online course, we will issue the certification for you.

After completing the programme you will receive SSI Equipment Techniques Specialty certification.

This specialty can be a step towards your next certification card. For example, for your Advanced Open Water Diver, which you get automatically and for free if you have completed any four specialties and 25 dives after the OWD.
